Shawn Johnson develops dissociative amnesia after witnessing his mother's suicide as a child. Ten years after the suicide, Shawn bumps into his old babysitter and is hit with a memory that makes him question the details around his mom's suicide. From this interaction Shawn learns that he can recovery memories by being around people or in places from his past, so he sets out on a mission to recover his lost memories and uncover the details around his mother's alleged suicide. This inevitably leads to a colliding path with his bitter ex stepfather who believes Shawn's mother was the reason for his cocaine empire being taken down
Director Biography - Rashayn Alexander
Rashayn Alexander is a talented and passionate individual hailing from the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada. Born with an insatiable curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, Rashayn has always been drawn to exploring the world around him and seeking opportunities for personal growth. Raised in a supportive and nurturing environment, Rashayn's early years were shaped by his love for literature, arts, and technology. He displayed a keen interest in understanding how things worked, whether it was taking apart gadgets to see their inner mechanisms or immersing himself in books that transported him to distant worlds and ideas. As he grew older, Rashayn's interests expanded into the realm of creative expression. He discovered a profound passion for storytelling, be it through writing, photography, or film. Captivated by the power of visual narratives, he found himself intrigued by the art of cinema, leading him to explore the process of filmmaking and its impact on society. Driven by his fascination with both art and technology, Rashayn pursued higher education in the field of media and communication. He obtained a diploma in Film Production from Vancouver Film School, further honing his skills in storytelling and visual aesthetics. Throughout his academic journey, Rashayn actively engaged with the creative community, collaborating on various projects and showcasing his talents at local events and film festivals.
